Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Office

Advanced Science and Technology Commercialization Center (ASTeCC)
ASTeCC is UK's nexus for multidisciplinary research that leads to technology transfer and new business start-ups. The ASTeCC program is a catalyst for the university's economic development mission and serves as a hub for faculty who want to license their technology and/or start a company.
Coldstream
The UK Coldstream Research Campus is the location of the University of Kentucky's development of knowledge-based firms. Coldstream provides a synergetic research campus environment for science and technology-focused businesses, and University of Kentucky faculty, staff and students.
Center for Manufacturing
The Center for Manufacturing hopes to enhance the global competitiveness of Kentucky manufacturers by conducting quality academic research and providing manufacturing technical assistance to Kentucky industry.
